I had him fetch train my dog and he came back in excellent heath, highly conditioned, and happy. The dogs get plenty of attention and excercise from Chris and his family. The 4 mile run is hilly and the dogs get a great workout, my dogs conditioning is proof of this. Chris is someone that truly cares about each dog in his kennel. Anyone that has had a dog with him could tell you that his actions speak louder than words. They are all very happy dogs getting to do what they were bred to do, which is running and finding birds. The dogs in his care get more attention and excercise than any of the house pets that my neighbors have. I was so impressed with his kennel setup that I followed his example of building a wooden floor for my own. His kennel is always spotless, and the dogs have comfortable, clean houses to sleep in. I totally agree that dogs shouldn’t be left locked up, or worse chained up. We really stress to our clients to have their dogs inside and around them, what better way to enjoy the companionship of a dog. Our dogs are inside with us as much as possible, except for during the day when we are at work or otherwise busy. We have a strict schedule of running the dogs 4 miles every morning and training twice a day. I mean, how often to they even get out of their cage to hunt? I'll never understand how hunters can keep dogs this way. What a sad, cold lonely existence for a dog.
