Cove Mountain Kennels is located in southeastern Idaho near Pocatello. We are surrounded by agriculture in the valley and beautiful mountain ranges on all sides. We specialize in training quality upland hunting dogs for today´s hunting situations. Our philosophy is that a combination of socialization, companionship, behavior and lots of experience on wild birds makes for a quality hunting dog and wonderful fulltime companion.
At Cove Mountain Kennels, we have chosen quality over quantity, so space is very limited. We work to instill confidence and enthusiasm in the hunting dog while challenging them to learn and develop. Our training includes basic and advanced obedience, snake training, force fetching, e-collar conditioning, introduction to birds, and (in season) experience on wild birds. We encourage owner-participation in the training process. Contact us for availability.
I was wanting know, bring my pointer to you and having it trained. I would like to know about what type of birds the dog is trained for, cost, and just general info that I need.

You have helped a friend of mine in the past with his puppy (Dave Anderson) and I wanted to see if you would be able to assist me with a 6 month old pup I have this fall.
She is a pudlepointer and seems pretty good already over birds and I really would like her to spend some quality time with someone for a month or so getting some experience. Even if just for a couple of weeks that would be great. Looking forward to hunting pheasant and chukar with her.
I know it is a busy time but please let me know your thoughts…the first couple weeks of Oct. would work great.
