I whole heartily agree with your opinion about the GPS unit. I have 60csxi. I love it. When I got the Astro it took me longer than it should have to figure out how to get to my favorite screens. I actually use this unit for search and rescue so some of the screens are extremely important especially your UTM location and altitude. I am excited to try the DC30. The DC20 was really clunky and I was afraid that my dog who is a far ranging dog would get stuck. Garmin was very good about switching out the collar. I haven't tested the 60 against the Astro hand held for reception under dense tree cover.
